I usually buy M-L based on the fit and chose to go with a L with the 1st one I bought just to be safe. I have long arms so with these I buy L or XL based on what is available. I don't mind going bigger since a little baggier is nice, I would rather the sleeves be long enough than too short. I don't feel a M would have worked in the sleeves.
