I got this to give my back a little bit of stability when I want to push my RDLs and squats. I didn't want to jump up to a lever belt or a locking belt just yet as I want to continue to strengthen my back. This is perfect. I'm a short woman with a short torso and the belt fits just fine. Size chart worked perfectly, I measured around my belly button and not my waist. I can't believe that I got something this quality at this price.
